CVC SIP Semi-automatic vial/ampoule inspection system

CVC Semi-automatic inspection system is composed of an infeed table, a central starwheel unit and an outfeed plane.

Infeeder: loading from infeed table, containers are then transferred to the central starwheel where handling and inspection are performed.

Handling: containers are spun around to enable ppharmapack floating and manifest their existence.

Inspection: Based on physic state of injectable solutions, CVC provides 2 alternatives of inspection:

CVC SIP: for lyophilized (freeze dried) vials, 2 cameras with lighting are placed to scan vials from side and bottom to acquire full images of 360 degree.
CVC SID: for liquid vials and ampoules, a bottom illumination is to reveals particulates while a color camera scan images from the side.
Outfeeder: rejected containers are ejected to rejecting tray while qualified ones are collected in the outfeed plane.
